The importance of good documentation

For a long time I’ve thought about developing a facebook application. I’ve bought the books (soon outdated) and I’ve read through the documentation (more outdated then the books) and all I’ve really managed to decipher is that, once you have the knowledge you most likely shouldn’t share it with people starting out. Maybe it’s seen as a right of initiation. You have to decipher the enigma that is the documentation to earn the right to create an app.

I’m finally getting ready to launch my first project/start-up. It’s taken a lot longer then it should have, but I’ve decided I’m going to take the SCRUM style approach and begin by getting something out there and then improving it in increments.
